From
I-95 (Connecticut Turnpike) Exit 17:
Left at bottom of ramp onto Rte. 33 North. Go 1.5 miles to
intersection with Route 1 (Post Road). Left onto Rte. 1. Got
0.5 miles to second traffic light. Turn right onto King's
Highway North. Take first left turn onto Woodside Avenue
(becomes Woodside Lane). Go straight 0.9 mile to Earthplace.
From
Merrit Parkway (Route 15) Exit 41:
From Norwalk/Stamford - Turn left at end of ramp at
traffic light by the Red Barn Restaurant.
From
Fairfield/Bridgeport: Turn right at the end of ramp at
the traffic light. Go under the Parkway to the traffic light
by the Red Barn Restaurant. Go straight on Route 33 South to
the next traffic light. Turn right onto King's Highway
North. Go 0.6 miles past 2 stop signs and 3 speed bumps to a
right turn onto Woodside Avenue (becomes Woodside Lane). Go
straight 0.9 miles to Earthplace. |

The Barnum Museum

The
Barnum Museum is located at 820 Main Street in Bridgeport,
CT.
From I-95 heading South:
Take Exit 27 (Lafayette Boulevard) stay to left when ramp
forks. Take a left at the end of the ramp, onto Lafayette
Boulevard. Go under turnpike to the light, staying in the
center lane. Take the far left onto South Frontage Road
(note: the near left takes you back to I-95). At the second
traffic light, take a left onto Main Street. Go under the
turnpike and past the light. The Museum is on the right.
From I-95 heading North:
Take Exit 27 (Lafayette Boulevard) continue straight to 5th
traffic light to Main Street. Turn left on Main. Museum is
on the right.
From Route 8/25 heading
South: Take Exit 3 (Main Street and Washington Avenue) stay
in left lane, following Main Street South signs. Continue on
Main for about 1.5 miles. Museum is on the left.
From Merrit
Parkway (Route
15) heading South: Take Exit 52 to Route 8/25 Connector,
toward Bridgeport. Once on Route 8/25 South, follow
directions above. From
Merrit Parkway (Route 15) heading North: Take Exit 49S
to Route 8/25 Connector toward Bridgeport. Once on Route
8/25 South, follow directions above. |
